Pastor Seip has been the pastor of Chestnut Hill Baptist Church for twenty-six years and is the longest serving pastor in the church’s 190 year history. David is a graduate of Trinity College, Dublin, where he earned his Ph.D. from its prestigious Department of English. He holds a Master of Theology in New Testament from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland; a Master of Theology in Church History from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He also holds a masters in biblical studies and undergraduate degrees in both architecture and criminal justice. He is a retired professor of theology and is author of several books. David is married, has five grown children and thirteen grandchildren.
